A Wow in Weston

Architect, Thomas Catalano, inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater house, designed a stunning contemporary in Weston, surrounded by majestic woodlands, bringing the beauty of the outdoors indoors — no small feat. With floor-to-ceiling glass windows and 12’ bifold doors, this house is a modern work of art.You can see Fallingwater’s influence in the kitchen’s sink base and bar, as well as the sleek waterfall countertops that seamlessly dissolve into the floor. And while nature figures prominently in this house, so does entertaining. From the grotto in the lower level to the heated pool, sauna and screened in porches, there’s a place that’s perfect for entertaining 12 months a year. Because the home is steel and glass 158 data points needed to line up exactly in and out of the house as it was being built, so Ken assigned a supervisor to oversee this very specific part of the project to ensure 100% accuracy. Of course, with Ken’s usual attention to detail, he just called it, “Business as usual.” It’s a home we think Frank Lloyd Wright would approve of!Architecture: Catalano Architects; Interior Design: Harry Schnaper; Landscape Design: The MacDowell Company
